I think our commander may have tried to move the AA. I also noticed there was a static gun and a ZIS 5 truck at the same co-ords.

Thanks for taking the time on this. I've opted to move them manually if it continues. It a shame the object interferes with landing AI :)

Thanks again

Trouble at the airbase!

Hi All, We are continuing to run our Italian campaign but have hit upon a small quandry. Our transport planes have brought in reinforcements from another airfield. This went well but sadly the newly delivered units are now parked at the map reference that relates to the LANDING point of the airstrip...

Thanks for your reply Shades.

I restored and re-ran the eventlog through DCS 3.1.13 and got the same error on Updating Order of Battle.

I'll leave it be and continue with things. I'm sure nothing will come of it :)

Engineers rebuliding bridges without orders

Hi all, Our opposing side commander has sent me this message. I see at least 1 error so far - there's a Blue bulldozer in a bridge rebuilding mission that I never ordered, and it cannot be stopped. It's trying to rebuild bridge 15. Might that have occured automatically due to some movement orders, a...

New DCS 3.1.13

I noticed there is a new DCS out on the 3rd April. Can I just install this and I'm good to go. I couldn't find any release notes and I did notice the DB looks as though it hasn't changed.

I'm currently on DCS 3.1.7.

Thanks.

Thanks for your reply Shades. I will keep it in mind if we hit that problem.

Those pesky paratroopers and bailers. Best thing to do is shoot em. Berlin sounds awesome but I'll leave that for the time being :)

Wow! Check the file I believe I used with UltraEdit and it doesn't have the returns or line breaks. Odd. I know I have a tendancy to move data between two machines via copy/paste and VNC so maybe something odd has happened on its travels. I'm normally a danger to myself.. this has been one of those ...

Hi Shades,

I will have a look when I get back to my machine. I'm not sure if I kept the file I create for the original Object Specifications but I recall I just did a copy and paste from the downloaded DB.

I'll post back later. At least I'm there in the end. Thanks for all your help. :)

DCS 317 and new Object Specifications

Thank you Shades for having a look at the database and finding the cure. I have just one question. I noticed that there is a new field in the object specifications table for Parachutes. All the records are set to 0. Does that mean that it deals with whether a user can bail out or not? Does 0 mean &q...

Absolutely awesome find Shades and a great big hearty thank you from me and the Dogz.

Thanks for the tip. I had never thought of that. I'll remember if for next time. :)

I'll remove the DB file now.

Thanks again.

Just a little more detail.

If I log in as Admin for that sector and try to Manage the Campaign I get a blank (background colour as set) screen. with the following:

Line 1191
Char 4043
Unterminated string constant

The URL it throws up is:
Scripts/MP-ManageCampaign.php?Sector=Italy&Focus=
