next season - a big campaign you are invited

Post by 22GCT_Gross »

Hello
I would like to talk to the whole SEOW community, especially to the skilled and well organized squadrons.

Scorched Earth is a superb playing system, but we did not yet make the most 4Shades developed for us.
So we're going to design a multi sector campaign opened to all squadrons across the world to get a challenge together.
These are the requirements and the features we're thinking on:
- hosting the game on dedicated servers to get more than 80/90 players a mission;
- get the best campaign administrators from any squadrons;
- accurate historical environments;
- assign to any squadrons their own war forces (air, naval and ground) and give them the whole managing responsability according with the HQ dispositions (both Planning and Tactics - you'll decide by yourself how to gain the targets the HQ told you to achieve);
- promoting friendship, fairness and co-operation among the players;
- History SFX MOD.

Campaign will start on october and last some months across the 2009/2010 season; we'll play over different scenarios all over the world in the summer of 1942.
We'll be able to use all fantastic new features 4S is working on, as radar, ship progressive damage, trains, spies, paratroopers et cetera...
The more your squadron is skilled and large, the more responsability you'll have.

The starting group is the SEOW HQ guys (4S included), HSFX developers, Italian community, 102nd, Israelians, EAF, 69GIAP and many others.
We expect to have about 250 players involved into this first "world big campaign"!
If you are interested, do not hesitate to ask here below

Updating:

HSFX 40 is on testing and will be released soon.
Once Shades will be ready with the next SE release, we'll be able to start the campaign.

The few remaining bastards of Lentolaivue 16 would like to participate.
Airplanes are interesting toys but of no military value
