Dore has just sent me an Excel spreadsheet that makes it easy to construct records in formats needed for the Highways table from an FMB .mis file containing Chiefs. Check out the new download for "SEOW Routes Tool" (which is what I called it) at the usual SEOW downloads site.

Note: in the upcoming release, which will feature full support for trains, train routes will be held in a separate table called Railway_Waypoints which has identical structure to the Highways table, so Dore's tool could be used for capture of railway data as well.

Cheers,

OK 4Shades, but you put the wrong Excel file ;-) routesECfinal.xls is only the datas for EC (English Channel), I have sent to you a other .xls file that is the tool ;-)

I work actually on English Channel Map. Job done:
- Roads and railways capture
- 1/3 map done. Very difficult because no general map with roads, I need to use a important zoom and draw every road and railways.Sector A in progress
- 6 sectors

LOL, my mistake. I told you I was sick.

It'll have to wait until I return now.

CAN_Channel

Post by PA-Dore »

CAN_Channel is 90% ok. I test it.
I have to do:
- Layouts for airbases, 33 airbases different / IL2 game.
- 3 or 4 mistakes in roads and raywails
- Industrial and fuel
- Get better maps.

4Shades I need you for this:
- In my 3rd mission I have this error when I downloaded the mission and also when I analysed it after hosting. And I can't analyse it.
I suppose there 's a problem when transforming active objects in static objects? I check my Object_Specifications table where there're many "double" type?

Hi Dore,

Check the contents of your mission file (.mis). Are the Stationary directives properly formatted - are the any NaN entries?

It's all right. It was a mistake (DIV/0) because of a X_Landing = X_Takeoff on a airbase. Thanks;-)

@PA-Dore

Salute for your excellent work.

may i ask how things are going. I would very much like to build a seow based on this map.

I may be able to contribute some time and effort towards your project.

Is there any thing I could do to help?

Cheers
