Water Features now available

Post by IV/JG7_4Shades »

In the Iron Front world we now have automatic generation of rivers/coasts based on IL-2 map structures. :D

Next, airbases and pontoon bridges ...

Cheers,

Bridges are working fine in meta-SEOW missions now. The problem is that AI units don't appear to be able to use them properly - this appears to be an Arma 2 bug. The work-around is for humans to drive vehicles over bridges, team-switch to AI individuals and walk them over bridges, or to load squads onto trucks and drive them over bridges etc.

*) Water features can either be coastal (waves, surf noise etc) or inland (still water), according to map generation option.
*) Roads have been revised to comply with SEOW Highways and Railways.
*) Bridges are now dynamic, dependent on their SEOW damage state.
*) Random aircraft fly-by operations are now supported (for atmospheric effect, rather than combat ops).
*) Every IF crew member in every unit in the entire SEOW campaign is now tracked individually and displayed in the MP.

New SEOW release is imminent. :)
