I've done a few tests about how supply control works (focused on how freighters work), and I've seen that road freighter units (trucks and columns) are not able to load freight supplies from airbases. Is it right?
It means that the only places where those units can be reloaded (of freight) are in the industrial supply depots (crowded of AAA
) and in the supply air drop points that have to be done if you want to have some supply stores near the front line, with the risk of being easily destroyed by the enemy .Maybe is not too dificult to make that road freighters could reload supplies from the airfields, because -finally- those supplies can be distributed to the front line army units only by air supply drops, but can't be distributed by road?. But the fact is that those supplies come from the same place, the air bases supply depots, and they end (or can end) in the same place (tanks, artillery and so on), aren't they? So what diference is there beetwen distribute them by air or by road?
