Invalid unit type - rocket

Post by gulfy32 »

Hey all,

I am building a mission on Channel1942. When I place V2_ramp, V2_air, Fi103_V1_ramp, Fi103_V1_air I get an error when initializing a campaign.

Code: Select all

SEDCS::Campaign Template format error in file Operation Lion.mis
Invalid unit type listed in the Rockets section of the template file.

1_Rocket has invalid type 'V2_air'.
This unit will be ignored.
Anyone know what to do?

Hi Gulfy,

I haven't run a V2 mission in years!

Open FMB and place an airborne V2 on a map and save the .mis file. Open the .mis file in a text editor and read the rocket object directive. This is what your rocket directive should be inside your campaign mission file.

You may need to edit Object_Specifications (Object_Type, maybe Stationary and Inactive) and Rocket_Parameters tables to get things consistent, and retro-fit the ObjMissionData table.

Cheers,
