Adding a Train Station

Hey Guys,

I noticed on the Slovenia Map (summer Online Zuti) that a Railway Station exists that is not in the Database.
The town is Udine in Italy (Grid AB-16-3).
I don't know if data can be inserted into what has already been captured on a map - computer dummy.
I did grab the coordinates of the beginning and the end of the platform at Udine using front markers :
FrontMarker0 18896.11 152304.70 1
FrontMarker1 19100.88 152100.16 1

I also plotted a train that ended its movement into Udine (should I have captured this from both directions , or does it matter ?)
Its waypoints were :
[Chiefs]
0_Chief Trains.USSR_FuelTrain/AA 1
[0_Chief_Road]
19500.00 151700.00 20.00 0 2 5.555555820465088
18900.00 152300.00 20.00

Anyhow , if it would serve others like me to answer :
1) Can a Railway Station be inserted into the database ?
If so what is required to do so ?
2) Can a designer build a railway station where one does not exist on a map and then insert it into the
database ?
If so what is required to do so ?

Hope these aren't too simple questions - I couldn't find an answer in the wiki.

Thanks,

Kopfdorfer

Very easy to do:
1. Insert a Railway Station object in your campaign Template, it will be persistent.
2. Report the coordinates (see your mis file) in the database --> Railway-Stations table. (see examples in the SEDB73 database)

Note that 2 Station_Type exist
1 is for simple stations needs 3 coordinates
5 is for large platforms needs 6 coordinates

Thanks for the guide, PA-Dore. Looks pretty simple. Can anything else be added the same way?

Additional fuel dumps and factories to report in the database.
Every objects you want for customizing.

You can also define new "temporary" runways simply by putting their coordinates in the Airbases table, and setting Airbase_Type to a "temporary airbase" number as defined in the Airbase_Layouts table.
