Just starting out in mission generation

Post by DD_Friar »

Salute guys for what may i say is a fantastic addition to il2. Our squad "The DangerDogz" enjoy it emensely.

My question is when putting vehicles that are to be avaiable for commanders to move when the mission is put live, how should i plot them? do they just have 2 short waypoints to leave them where i want them to be for the commanders to pick up from?

Salute

Just place them on the map as Stationaries, where you want them to be. Commanders will be able to move them straight away. If you really want them to start "in progress" you can give them waypoints in the template, i.e. make them mobile.

Note that some vehicle objects in IL-2 have no stationary form (!) so you should use mobile forms in the template for these.

Cheers,
