results of a test last night flying the same circuit.
test 1. i took flight lead. we flew half way round and then went off waypoint for a while. my valient ai followed me. i then issued a rtb command via the navigation menu (iirc) and off they went back towards home. i must admit i can not confirm if they landed or not, i just saw them head off in the correct direction.
test 2. i took seat #3. flew the same, then went off waypoints. my ai wingy followed me. i tried to send him home but there are no commands available, just the usual engagement ones, attack fighters etc.
