Windows 7 DCS errors 'System.Web, Version=4.0.0.0,

Post by JG26_Badger »

S!:

I have been getting the following error message during both build and analyze from the DCS and was wondering if any Windows 7 SEOW users have had this error. I do not know what causes this and would appreciate any assistance.

Operating System Windows 7 64 bit
SEDCS version 3.3.1
SEDB33A

SEDCS::53 Could not load file or assembly 'System.Web, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
Description : Could not load file or assembly 'System.Web, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

I'm getting this error too after I analyse a mission. I'm still setting up SeoW so I'm not sure if it is having any effect on things or not at this point.

Hi Jones,

This is a .NET Framework version issue that I am yet to debug. It doesn't seem to cause any ill-effects in running campaigns.

I've released a provisional DCS version (http://seowhq.net/4Simages/SEDCS-v3.3.1 ... sional.zip) where I have attempted to fix this problem. Because I cannot reporduce the issue on my PC I cannot be sure I have fixed it.

I have copied the required System.Web DLL to the installation folder, so the DCS should be able to find it. Let me know if it helps guys.

Cheers,

The missing Web assembly error message has gone away, but now I've gotten this one:

SEDCS::frmMain.cmdImportLog_Click: 5 Cannot load a reference assembly for execution.
Description : Cannot load a reference assembly for execution.

I've only done minimal testing, so this may not be a regular occurrence.

I installed SEDCS-v3.3.10_installer_x64h.exe

Also got this message after generating a mission:

SEDCS::5 Cannot load a reference assembly for execution.
Description : Cannot load a reference assembly for execution.

Same message appears after analysing a mission. My guess is that it is happening at the same frequency as the System.Web message was.
