Have the access db connection syntax changed?

Post by EAF331_Starfire »

I have a strange problem

I uploaded the 4.710 and patched it rightaway with 4.710->4.793
I placed the db in the "C:\inetpub\wwwroot\MP4Test\Data\Default\SEDB33A.mdb"
on this website http://test.starfire.dk

Changing the default db path to placing above location.

And i got this error message:
No valid database connection found for All Sectors - login aborted.

The connection settings defined for All Sectors in the "Scripts\MP-Connection.php" script are insufficent
to establish a valid connection to the designated Scorched Earth database. All connections are aborted.

Here are the defined connection settings for All Sectors.

Campaign Sector All Sectors
Database Provider Microsoft Access
Database Path "c:\inetpub\wwwroot\MP4Test\Data\Default\SEDB33A.mdb"
Connection String Driver={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)};Dbq=C:\inetpub\wwwroot\MP4Testc:\inetpub\wwwroot\MP4Test\Data\Default\SEDB33A.mdb;Uid=;Pwd=;

If you see this page, report to your Scorched Earth host.
Since this it is not my first barbacue I made a new web (new.starfire.dk)site with just the 4.710. It came up with no error at all :roll:

Any idears?

Nothing has changed. I noticed this in your error message:
Dbq=C:\inetpub\wwwroot\MP4Testc:\inetpub\wwwroot\MP4Test\Data\Default\SEDB33A.mdb
Not sure what this means.

Cheers,

Neither do I since It does not correspond with what I have written in the database section (behind the password) :?:
