Here is more restricted to mainly us Aussies & not the rest of the world, but this is a comment from one of my fellow WTE pilots over a request for some combat from another Aust squad & our reply to fly mods as well as 4.09m.

"Great, I hope they repond in the affirmative.
It would be good to get some rival action going again, I've
got to say it has been a little, um, well, under whelming lately and
I'm a bit worried that we might have lost Wombat.
We just don't have the numbers to competitively fly against each other
as we once did.
I guess it's a tribute to Olegs brilliant masterpiece that its been able
to keep us entertained for as long as it has.
BOB SOW can't come soon enough. "

And they still dont see SEOW as an option. !

I'm just glad that Stick & myself can make it when we can.

LOL, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink!

Geez!

No457 haven't participated in anything competitive in a dogfight sense since 2005!

It's pretty much been SEOW ever since the OZFB days!

Don't worry boys, there's always a place for you at No457 hehehehe :D

G'day Ikey,

Being a former (and somewhat aloof) member of WTE many many years ago, am curious as to what version of IL2 and settings are used by those still flying these days. Am not really into the squad competition thing and think that fighting at flight or wingman level is much more combat effective in a dogfight server. Am no longer a regular user of Hyperlobby and am sure HSFX 4.2 betta is not supported, let alone heard of in there. Guess its all Zutti moving dogfights now being used. Has anyone plotted all ground, sea and aerial movements in a combat environment for a period of a day and put it onto a server yet? My record so far is only four hours. All I can suggest for competion from this quarter is a "barbarians" outfit from JG7, JG77, 457 & others with the proviso of running it on a compatible version of HSFX with all the hard stuff ticked.

Regards,
Warg
