I don't know how often I would be able to fly, but I would be happy to do some admin or mission planning work, if needed. Sounds like a very interesting setup.

Shades, do not hesitate to run your campaigns on ITA server.

OK guys! :D Many thanks for the offers!

But this campaign will likely be flown at very irregular hours, and at very short notice, with low pilot numbers and a variety of people admin/hosting. Not sure what systems will be the best to use.

Cheers,

I know for sure that 102nd server isn't very popular in other times than prime time european (18:00 - 23:00 GMT) and even then it will have only a few players.... I suspect the same for Diego's server :) - and whats better than a DSC server for a short notice SEOW ? hop in, give a command and one minute later you have a ready mission :)

G'day,

Okay, so far we have:

Red: Hawk 5 & Brandle
Red: 4Shades & Ikey.

Since Blue have double the flight mission numbers, I'll put myself down for them. However, as template designer I'll stick to plotting and flying fighter missions only and not compromise its integrity. Will probably chat later today & PM me for the respective passwords.

Regards,

Warg

Maraz has also put his hand up on the Axis side.

Is there a facility to make Axis HQ posts to this forum? Can't seem to see anything as yet, though am in the user group.

Any chance of all the settings ie Advanced management etc being put up as a Sticky for all to see. Mainly for the new bods that may join in & will have fair warning.

cheers

G'day Ikey,

I'm okay for that to occur, but would also request that the server run CRT=2 to ensure compliance on this.

Well for starters can we assume:

Realistic bomb & Torp
Advanced engine management
Immersive hud
?

My preferences:

I have requested a high parking rate @75/80% so there are airfield targets available each mission for either side.

All industrial targets active

All flights able to be human flyable if possible including recon.
Secret flights unrestricted as well.
What is available for humans is up to mission planners.

Very low to none initial recon?
Reasonable recon decay rate?

Any thoughts on using Zloys AAA mod. I've not heard good or bad about it but reducing AAA effect with bad weather sounds more realistic, but then we are making it easier for us pilots. I'm happy either way.

G'day,

I'll recommend using the following:

Hakenkruz Enabler
Realistic Bomb and Torpedo
Hsfx history mod
Effects High
Perfect Map Textures
Advance Engine Management
6DOF Tracker
Immersive HUD
SEOW Campaign
Zloys AAA Mod
All the above enforced by the server running CRT=2

Presently recon for both is set at 5%, decay at 5% per mission.
All industrial targets are active.
Industrial repair at 24 Hours.
Parking rate is at 25% and most airfields are currently full.
Breakdown rates are all set to zero.

My current question is whether you'd like me to amend the template to change the Macchi 200 Series I to flyable III's? The default Series III skin is not correct for Malta, but I do have a replacement. Should the recon decay rate increase? I had it set low as I did not anticipate flyable recons being so prevalent. Do we need to increase the parking rate? There are not many spare bays and 25% puts on average, about a dozen airframes on each airfield. If we change this, then we'll need 4Shades to reinitialise it.

That would be a very good idea.
Serie I (the version with closed cockpit) did not have much operational use after the first months of war.

There are not many spare bays and 25% puts on average, about a dozen airframes on each airfield.
That being the case then the current rate should provide enough targets to make airfield attack/defence a vital campaign component.
