But ultimately its all a matter of personal choice.

How about 'You would be very foolish not to install this Official Update' ?

It contains positive things that will be of benefit to everybody that has it in the long term ! (even if not directly in the next day or so in some cases.)

Do you think that would help Armwaar ?
A few points.

1) I'm not a mod expert. I presumed that the hosts would need upgrade and upgrades can take time.
2) I want to avoid surprises.
3) I need to convey clear direction to our other players who don't regularly visit this forum.

It was initially presented in terms of "Optional" based on theatre. I have no problem with "Mandatory" as long as the mandates are clear, which is why, as well as other users ultimately asked for clarification.

It's an official SEOW patch because HSFX is the official SEOW mod. So this patch is a MUST not an option.

Ok how do users using the UP v2.0 using the HSFX switcher update to the new mod?
Question is the Kuban mission going to be using this mod for tomorrow night as we would all need to update by then ?

At the moment the 69.GIAP server has not yet been updated to this latest patch (it has the earlier ones though), and I don't think it will make any difference for either Kuban or Crimea. Whether it is installed or not will not affect your ability to fly in these sectors, if I understand correctly. Similarly, whether or not you have it installed should have no effect in these sectors, so you don't need to worry about using UP v2.0.

Flying isn't dangerous. Crashing is what's dangerous.

It fixes ship damage models, both Crimea and Kuban have ships?

Can someone explain to me what does "Immersive HUD" mean?
I have tried several a/c in QMB and the HUS looks the same to me?

Also, what is the effect of "original buttons" mod?

Thank you in advance.

Hud messages are less numerous, no message e.g. for EnemyAircraftDestroyed, Player_Killed, StabilizerOff, ....

????

I don't know if you are aware of it but I and some ofthe other admins here spent a huge amount of our time making HSFX..which we designed for SEOW.

I am not about to patch up somebody elses's mod (which is 98% ripped off from our work anyhow)...
