Night missions - an observation

Post by IV/JG7_4Shades » Sun Aug 18, 2013 9:09 pm

While driving around in my jeep I have noticed that at least some tanks seem to shoot wildly erratically at night, i.e. shells shot steeply into the air. This does not affect all tanks, and it certainly does not affect halftracks etc.

The friendly kills stats from the 2100 mission show the results of this. A German halftrack was shooting at T-34 platoon that was right behind a German train. The tanks were shooting at the train but way over it. The halftrack was shooting directly at the tanks, firing through the train cars. Net effect, one destroyed train.
