Allied / Axis Rooms

Hi Guys,

Each side should now have 8 private rooms: 6 Sector rooms + 1 supply room + 1 overall HQ room. Any Allied or Axis member should be able to see, read and post in any of their side's rooms, but your enemy should not even be able to see your side's rooms.

This sounds simple to set up, but it can be tricky to get right. Can people check that I have done it right, and post here with any problems?

Also, some people have contacted me recently to say that they cannot post in this forum or that forum. Remember, to post in the Global Lounge you must be a member of the June 1942 Community usergroup. To post in an Allied or Axis forum, you must be a member of the June 1942 Allied or June 1942 Axis usergroups, respectively. You need to apply to join these groups using the Usergroups tool above.

Hi Shades,

IMHO 6 rooms is a bit bulky. I have spent some time now posting in 2 rooms (med and lybia) and found that they are so interconnected, that separating them is not such a good idea.

What do you and others think? Can we merge CentMed and Lybia? Should we have just 3 rooms, 1 for each theater, and a common command and logistic room?

Can you confirm you're giving membership of "June 1942 Community usergroup" to those who request Allied or Axis?

Applying for either Axis or Allied of June 1942 should be enough to get membership to Global Lounge on top of the side forums.

Also - is the Technical Room forum seen by both sides?

devill makes a good point about merging the allied cent med and libya rooms.

Im sitting on the fence on this one because the way the squads involved are co operating we could easily work with one room for both, but the fact they are split does make sense as well.

Hi ViFF,

I am NOT giving automatic membership to the Community forum for people who apply to either the Axis or Allied Forum. This would make a lot more work for me.

As I posted earlier, people need to apply for each forum.

If there is no objection from EAF and PA commanders and planners, which are involved in planning the Mediterranean sectors (Centmed and Lybia), I would like to request that these two sector rooms are merged into one room.

Please guys, respond here, and if you agree, I'd kindly ask Shades to merge the 2 rooms.
