Hi all,
I have prepared the modpack that contains all the mods we need for this campaign

EDIT: MARIANAS MOD V3 is available now.

Those who have installed previous version:
- disable it via JSGME
- delete folder of previous version of MARIANAS MOD in folder jsgmemods
before installing MARIANAS MOD V3

To install, unzip in IL-2 root folder

This modpack contains:
- the TransferringMission mod
- the Command and Control mod with Observer and Coastwatcher objects (corrected a bug that was in previous version)
- an additional japanese Frankenplane, P1Y1 Ginga (Frances) based on IL-4 with an upgraded FM and Japanese weapons.
- a new version of the Val bomber, D3A2 (used in Marianas)
- corrected cockpits for B5N and B6N
- new FMs done by Aaken for US fighters

You need to enable in JSGME:
- HSFX History Mod
- 6DOF Tracker (optional)
- Exe 512MB (with or without 6DOF according to choice at previous point)
- Expert Mode
- MARIANAS MODPACK V3

I have installed the Marianas Modpack, and I was curious to have a look at the Ginga, but I did not find it in the list of planes....anything wrong in my installation?

No new FMs of existing planes are contained in the modpack. Flight models for these planes that are going to be used in the campaign are those contained in Expert Mode of HSFX v.5.0.

MARIANAS MODPACK V3 is now available (see first post).
Changes from V2:
- new FMs made by Aaken for some US fighters
- japanese bombs for P1Y1 (these replace original FAB bombs)

I just installed the latest v3 modpack and in the QMB I find the P1Y1 is still listed as carrying 'FAB' bombs?

I think I know the answer:

it does say "FAB" but if you look at the other japanesse bombs those bombs are acctually the same,so I guess the model of a Japan bomb is there just the name is the old one,from IL-4 airplane

Yesterday, some players of both sides had problems accessing the mission. They received a message like "Aircraft not created" when hitting "fly".
We believe this is due to wrong download / installation of the Marianas Modpack. In at least one case, this was apparently due to a corrupted file download.

Please all players do the following steps:
1) run Quick Mission Builder and check that the first planes in the list are D3A2 and P1Y1
2) if not: download again Marianas Modpack v3
3) disable the Marianas Modpack v3 via JSGME
4) delete current modpack and reinstall the freshlt downloaded one
5) enable again the Marianas Modpack v3 viaJSGME
6) go back to 1)

This should solve the problem.

In your HSFX install you should have a folder called "HSFX V5 Tools & Read me's.

In this folder you will find a rar file called "All_Ivans_il2_exe_s".

In this rar you will find a series of folders with different exes. Choose the one you want (according to whether you have 6DOF or not) and put it in folder jsgmemods.

Then activate the mod via JSGME.
