Question about weather and wind

Is it confirmed that the weather and wind conditions we can read on Mission Planner are the true one (with approximation of course) that we will meet in mission?

Someone says that it was agreed to have zero wind in NW theatre, but MP shows an amount of wind different from zero.

Hi Maraz, The wind is manually editted in the mission file to 0, so pls disregard the info in the MP.

But the speed of the ships is reduced anyway?

Not reduced, actually increased.
