Supply Drop Problem

G'day,

Just something for your attention. A few days ago, I unloaded some supplies from a transport and it dumped them on the extreme western edge of the map and in the incorrect quantity.

Details of the supply drop in the incorrect location and amount are:

Axis Supply Drop 70
Location coordinates are 308.707, 117501

Carrying unit was 1/Pz GrenRgt6. 7Panzer Div LIX.AK Co.1 Plat 1
(Natchschub Kompanie).

It's location is 34235, 120876, 113% - not sure what the last bit means, but it was carrying more than 67 litres.

Can't add much more than this. Am having problems plotting SEOW with Internet Explorer over the past day or so. I get a warning message is telling me that I'm using Mozilla Version 11 even though I've selected the Internet Explorer icon to bring up the web page. Something not right, but will keep trying to sort it out.

Regards,
Warg

For theMozilla Version 11 problem check to see if the Microsoft autoupdater installed IE 11. That very same problem happened to me.

You can uninstall Internet Explorer 11 by going to:
Control Panel
Uninstall a Program
View Installed Updates (top left on Win 7)
Peruse the list and right click Internet Explorer 11 if it is there and click uninstall.

Thanks Scannon, that did the trick. Removed IE 11 and can now plot. Will await further attention in regard to wayward supply drop.

The other option is to retain IE11 and just run the MP in Compatibility View.

Is that adjusted via the properties of the MP?

No, in IE11. Just click the cog wheel icon, go to "Compatibility View settings" and add the web site that the MP is located on. Any time you visit that web site IE will render the pages in compatibility view. That is sufficient for the MP to work fine.

Anyone else having supply drop problems like Warg did?

When we discussed this Warg, it sounded like you may have had the MP open in two browser tabs simultaneously. Are you still getting the same error?

You are correct with the browser tabs, but don't know if the problem still persists. It has not occured in subsequent drops, but obviously I'd appreciate resolution of the aforementioned example of a fortnight ago, where the carrier dumped its load on the western edge of the map.
