We are still going with our old Malta campaign on the smaller Maraz Malta map and I think after all this time a larger map would have been better especially where ship movements are concerned but also allows for attacks by Axis from more locations as was the case. Lookout for Licata AF as AI doesn't...

I'm inclined to disagree about automating certain functions or attacks. Maybe if these were hard coded in IL2 maybe... As soon as your supply line was under attack I imagine you would want immediate control to change how that supply arrives making it manual anyway. The commander always needs options...

Any mine field in IL2/SEOW land and sea requires an object that can be used in game and recreates the effect a real minefield would. It is in my mind a must that it would need to create an event in the event log when triggered. This I think is the hard bit. An object that is set as red or blue is al...

Possible additions

As discussed in TS and noted here for reference. Morale Morale improvement for a combat unit when it destroys an enemy unit. Morale improvement for all units in an area where an enemy aircraft is shot down. The reverse is true and morale is lost when a friendly aircraft is shot down over its own tro...

MP minor issue with delayed flights

Hi 4Shades, I have a planned a delayed flight in the current Illustrious Campaign (MPv4.806) and upon moving the mouse over the mission notes icon in misions scheduled I see that the commencement time is not in correct time format and appears to be a sum of the mission start time in hours eg. 2100 p...

Thats my understanding of how it works Ikey.
You are topping the flight up to max strength as specified in Object_Specs table.
So I guess first in is first served.

Another loadout error found.

The BF109D1L C-2 Type Nose MgFF is currently in DB as MgFF. This will cause all takeoff planes to crash and explode at start of mission if used.

Change to C2 as per the BF109C1 & D1 models.

Found an error with the Do217K1 loadout table.

Found:
32xSC50 should be 28xSC50
2xSC1800 should be 1xSC1800
8xSC250 should be 4xSC250

All other loadout entries for the Do217K1 checked ok.

Topic: bridge numbering changes from winter/summer maps?

I did the most recent data capture on Stalingrad and confirm that a lot of the bridges are indeed different in numbering between summer and winter versions and as 4Shades stated, efforts were made to correct this but to no avail. That is one of the reasons why the seperate winter map and database wa...

Just brilliant!!

Thanks 4Shades for creating that feature. For many years, a lot of users have really longed for that one and I know it will be used in every campaign by even the most experienced commanders.

Illustrious Campaign still needs a small check

Hi 4Shades,

thanks for getting it analyzed ok. There is however an issue with just a few units being in very much the wrong locations.
I did not fix the locations so you could have a look.

I am out of town again this weekend for family get together but will be back Monday.

Cheers,

Updating current campaigns in progress to the new release version I have successfully updated one of the SEOW HQ campaigns to the new release version and here's how I did it. Disclaimer. If it all goes bad I take no blame. It is always someone elses fault not mine. Point the finger at a squad mate?...
