The grid is by definition fixed... as all locations are determined in relation to the grid. The distortions you see are not distortions in the grid, but in your view of it caused by displaying the grid as a projection on local topography when not viewed from directly overhead... and that is not a bu...

The trick to getting straight grid lines (and I prefer to have grid lines present) is to capture all your shots with major N/S and E/W gridlines crossing exactly at the center of your screen... then trim off the most distorted edges leaving perhaps a 5x5 square... then fit them on a pre-mapped grid....

Hi Squog, I am having trouble getting this auto-updater installed on Windows Server 2003. The installation appears to go well (installing as user 'root'), then tells me to reboot, but once that happens I have the full cvsnt directory but no shortcut on the desktop, so no way to start an update. Is t...

Well, I just renamed the control points that had reverted to CP## designations in this burma1941 DB (when I reinitialized last night) and the mission planner now displays the control points with their new designations. Also when I sort Object_Specifications by nationality, only the few units in serv...

Thanks for the advice. Yes, the MAS501 is one of the two boats in question (the other being the MAS501JP). To get 30 km/hr I have reduced the Number_Name and Speed by half to 8.333333969116 and 30000 respectively for both boats, to no effect before reinitializing, and to no effect after reinitializi...

Ship speed bug
Also in interim release 4.623... we want to reduce the speed of the MTBs that are being used in shallow jungle rivers from 60 km/hr to 30 km/hr, so I thought that changing the "Speed" column in Object_Specifications from 60000 to 30000 would accomplish just that. But it doesn't. Even after...

Resupply bug
I just encountered a bug in interim release MP4-v4.623. As administrator in the Campaign Reinforcements section of Campaign Management, when I select an air supply point, an available aircraft, specify the number and press the arrow (which is below rather than adjacent to the data line) I get a pop-...

The Kiev2010 data worked perfectly! Thanks, PA-Dore! The reanalysis of the first mission (after installing these files) had no errors at all, and all of the bridges appear to be accounted for. Thinking back on it, I think what happened was I had this thread open while I was working, and posted my re...

The problem is that the Kiev Bridges table in the SEDB32D has 0 bridges rather than 404. Do you have a copy of the 404 bridges version that I can use? All bridges are missing in the Kiev version. Some (151) are present in the Kiev_AP version. I reinstalled the Kiev map to a test DB from the SEDB32D ...
