Hi Shades,
I may have an idea about how this feature could work, and it may be very simple: force air start.
I will continue testing, but just wanted to let you know I was still tinkering with this.
Merry Christmas to you and all who celebrate it today! Best wishes!!!

Re: Strike Package feature
Hmmm, fair enough! :) Hehehe, no, I didn't talk to Badger! The thing is we are doing the Midway, and you know Diego; he likes a "sky blackened with planes" type of a campaign. So, since we don't have a lot of humans, I am trying to plan the missions basically with AI bombers and humans as ...

Strike Package feature
Hello Shades, I am planning the MI campaign, and I was thinking about a possible feature which could be very nice, when planning large strike packages. The problem I am encountering is planning multiple bomber flights so that they are well organized in the air, mutually-supportive and so that in gen...

Re: Rest in Peace, Peter Millar.
I am so sorry for Pete and his family. This terrible news really caught me by surprise and left without words.
It was in my last mission in Korosten where we flew together in December 2013. It was so recent...
Peter was a wonderful guy. I will always remember him.

I guess if we are able to set a disembarkation delay to be the same as entrenchment delay, you would have standing infantry dig in without additional delay. This would be fine with me. Anyway, both the entrenchment delay and automatic trenches should be made as an option. So we could always choose t...

Hi Hawk5, just a short reply about the MG42: some infantry platoons have an LMG squad (like pz. grens), but the dug in rifle sections don't have that capability. So, effectively you lose chain fire when you dig in. I think it should be the other way around; you are certainly more likely to use chain...

The star pattern sometimes is why a tank destroys his platoon mate when opening fire as static weapon, as you all know. I didn't really look into static tanks, but in PQ16 I am intentionally using platoons of 3 for my tanks, because that box of 4 is just asking for friendly fire casualties. Of cour...

[Idea] Infantry entrenchment
Hi all, I would like to propose a more elaborate way of using infantry in SEOW with regard to the different levels of entrenchment, ie. defensive capability. Current state: The infantry which is left unmoved in the planning phase spawns as entrenched infantry in the mission. They spawn in platoons o...

Hi guys, Shades you probably saw my email in the meantime. I didn't have the time to check the template and whether it is built only with correct platoons, but right now the DB is in the state after the last test was built (the one with only 15 platoons moving) so you can cross check it with the mis...

Oh, we've been using it for some time, and it worked fine until you have airplane slots to spare. Since we have a lack of human pilots in Korea, planners from both sides have started using mass propaganda drops. If you have some time to kill, check the korea campaign results here http://www.69giap.c...

Propaganda effects
Hi Shades, I think propaganda is a bit too versatile right now in SEOW. In our Korea campaign against the GIAP69 both sides are using it extensively and it is proving to be more effective than any TNT charge you can imagine. Especially when there is turbulence down low which disables ground attackin...
