In the movement tab in the DCS there are 3 different groups of vehicles that you can set the different ground movement modes for, Column Units, Infantry and All Others.

What are Column Units and All Others.

Hm, I´m not sure what you mean when you say my main MP is not active. The website is active and running on a rootserver 24/7.
