Firing arcs, technics.ini and the MP

I am making a customised technics file for the next SEOW campaign but have a question which I expect will be easily answered. In the MP if we look at artillery or SPG units and display the firing range we can also see the field of fire of the unit in question. Is that field of fire data set in a dat...

Wow Shades this is awesome! I have used modified technics files in the past but always provided by someone else. I have looked in there many times in an effort to tweak some bits around and gain an understanding but without much luck however this makes a big difference. Thank you

Thank you Shades. Yes I had considered the AI, IIRC in SEOW virtually all airfields are setup as optimised for AI operations to minimise crashes at take off and landing. However certainly from my recent campaigns I have seen very little AI so I thought it worth a few losses for a more immersive envi...

Wind, crosswinds and takeoff direction

Is it possible to have the takeoff direction as set in the database a dynamic setting that changes in accordance with the wind? Its great that we have wind enabled for a more immersive environment but our takeoff direction is always fixed and I frequently find myself taking off with a tail wind and ...

Aircraft done, dispatched and received :)

Happy that I have been able to contribute something to SEOW at last.

I think there are a few old images that may also need updating.....one that springs to mind is the Vickers Mk.VI tank.

Would infantry or tank groups really continue to advance through a known minefield? Not all fighting men had the same mental approach to combat as the Japanese :D As I said in a much earlier post I dont think minefields need any direct in game unit, just the MP side of things is where the minefield ...

Seems like some great ideas here. What about minefields? I know they cannot be replicated ingame but perhaps MP side they could have an effect? ie. a commander plots grd movements which he believes will be succesful but when the mission is generated the units tasked to drive across a minefields have...
