Multi-drop Air Supply
A good family friend my wifes family is a WWII veteran that served most of the war in the far east, he started on Blenheims in Burma whilst the RAF and commonwealth were being pushed back by the Japanese and was transferred to a Dakota squadron flying logistics operations. Throughout the mid war yea...

Re: Cargo destruction
I'd not really thought that far Shades, I guess a slider for road and rail based transport would be good as it would take longer for a train to stop and infantry to escape. It would also be logical that heavy equipment such as AA guns and tanks or other vehicles could not quickly disembark from any ...

Cargo destruction
Just a thought and my apologies if its already been discussed but it occurred to me that sometimes units are destroyed far too easily when they are being carried as cargo, ie a supply column carrying soldiers gets attacked by aircraft or drives into an abush and the weak trucks get destroyed and thu...

Thanks for your prompt reply 4S, alas my working knowledge of the behind the scenes type stuff in SEOW is really rather limited and my knowledge of coding is embarrasing.... 5hrs for what on the surface to an untrained chimp like myself looks easy enough really highlights the gargantuan efforts that...

Some questions/suggestions
Hi all I have some questions and suggestions. 1 - Supply transfer between cargo carrying units. Would it be possible to transfer supply directly between units ie. I have a freight train which has arrived at a station with fuel for the front. At the station I have several supply columns and the way t...

Well I for one enjoy the planning :) I try to avoid mistakes and look ahead and if I make a mistake I expect to be punished for it, equally if the opposition makes a mistake the opportunity should be seized to punish that mistake to the fullest effect.. However that tenacious and aggresive way of pl...

Briefings wont stick
Using the MP on the ITA server on v6.0.50 I get the automatic briefings (flight information) but when I manually type in a briefing at the planning stage it does not stick. I click ok after typing the briefing but the flight instructions remain and my briefing disappears. Any ideas what I am doing w...

I'm curious as to why if merging flights were possible there should be a time penalty? If a squadron leader or station commander condensed the aircraft into one flight its only a paperwork excercise the aircraft remain the same. I think there were many examples when the pilots available outnumbered ...

Would it be possible to allow the commander to merge flights locally? During wartime restructuring through losses the aircraft did not have to leave the airfield, I expect structural changes most frequently occurred within the squadron. I think a common occurence would be for a squadron to make inte...

I have also noticed the problem relating to selecting flights but have found that if you move the mouse around the target area you will find the bit you need to click on ie. there is a pixel nearby that will work :) Is it intended that as a planner we cannot change loadouts after planning the missio...
