I think I will use the new friendly views with only cameras at major points around Malta, bases and carriers no externals of planes or enemy. This will help supplement the Radar, and recon information for the commanders and add a bit of fun for other spectators. This could be a great feature for coo...

I found an interesting map on AAA fire coverage of Malta http://forum.axishistory.com/download/file.php?id=152612 The question is how does that translate into template design? I'm not going for a historical design really. The battle for Malta does not have a desisive event to focus on. Instead I wan...

I only wanted the carriers because I want the campaign to be about supply. Forcing both sides to plan multiple bombers and recon flights should prevent it from becoming just another dogfight over Malta. Giving the axis the ability to attack the carriers before they launch the hurricanes appeals to m...

Thanks Hawk! I want to force the English to pickup their planes and transport them by ship. Give them an escort carrier to fly off of to protect the convoy. I was thinking that I could just place their hurricanes somewhere but not sure where or how they could be placed or how they would be loaded? I...

I have started working on a Malta Campaign. I'm thinking of using the Central Mediterranean Sector and would like opinions?

Ok found one weird thing the AI don't lower their gear so they land in one piece but without props. In the next mission they returned to their airfield. In this test I was the fourth plane. When I flew lead in the previous test they started at the temporary airfield in the next mission, I assume bec...

Ok I changed some C-47s to PSE type objects. Sure enough they deploy in next mission at the plotted landing point. Very cool! Now I need to know what kind of possible weirdness this could casue? Can I change them midway through a campaign. It didn't seem to cause any problems in my test. Still need ...

The side specific views seem to work ok in 4.11 I have not tested them extensively. The options are a bit generic however. Options limiting them to a specific height and zoom would be nice. If they could be attached to specific recon vehicles that would be a fun way for commanders to view the battle...

ObjMissionData
I want to allow commanders to use there float planes as if they were gliders. If they land on land can I go in and delete them in the ObjMissionData so that they just don't show back up at their base in the next mission? I have set the units that the floatplanes can carry like small vehicles with a ...

I found the answer here
http://seowhq.net/seowforum/viewtopic.p ... llied+axis
but I'm still concerned that setting the object specification to n instead of r will cause unforseen issues.
