Hi Mel,

I've completed the "Master of Marianas" SE template that I had been occasionally working on yesterday and sent it into the expert hands of 4Shades and Hawk5. It seemed to run smoothly during testing last night. It's a hypothetical early pacific war one, set at 8th December, 41. Basically an opposed invasion of Guam and you get to fly the various "crop dusters" of that era. Also has naval, night mission and land invasion requirements. Unfortunately, its designed on the lines of two hour missions and is a full on campaign that can go up to four or five days. Mind you, it does take half an hour to fly a Ki-27 from Saipan to Apra Harbour on Guam. As for the Hawaii map, I'm guessing you'll have to wait a few weeks.

Anyway, goodluck.

Regards, Warg

Hawaii progress report:

Road data loaded into DB.
2D maps for open sea and the all Islands done.
large 3D map for south end of Kauai Island done

Still to do:

Airfields. Confirm types, create new ones if req'd
Bridges.
Damage data
PHP's. Lengthy process
Factories: No factories found on map. Considering adding factories as default scenery if possible. How many required?

A lot more 3D maps.

A lot of work to go so Warg is right in saying some weeks yet. Any earlier would be a bonus. Hope to have available for next MP release.

Well first SE test mission has been flown on Hawaii map ok using Warg's
Kido Butai template.
A little tricky getting ships out of Pearl especially when close together at start but I did get a cruiser out to sea and a transport to move to a new position.
Two battleships, destroyers and sub sank due to collision.
Pearl Harbour looks great and Warg has done a very nice job getting all the ships in position. Looks like Dec 7th 1941!

The work continues!

Hi Mel.
the actual MP map and SQL data has been completed for some time.
A couple of tweaks to be done but it will be in the next release in near future.

S!
