MP down

Post by =gRiJ=Petr »

Hi,

Everything was fine with the planner until just an few hours ago. Suddenly the MP doesn't want to load the requested map. It stops at:

Commander Administrator, please wait. We are gathering the latest intelligence from Administration HQ ...

And there is DONE with exclamation mark in the bottom left corner.
Details of the error are:

Hi Petr

Probably someone added a pilot report or a flight plan with a strange character in the text. Open Pilot_Reports table and look for quote characters, brackets etc. Also look at briefings in the latest GroupMissionData records.

Hi Shades,

The Pilot_recon_reports table is empty.
In the groupmission table I deleted all briefings I could find. There were no briefings for the current mission 16h hours. Some were there for previous mission and the text is Polish. I deleted that but no result.

Thanks!

Hmm. Well someone did something to the DB (directly or via the MP) that has caused the error. THat's all I can offer at the moment, I'm sorry.

No problem, I have a working backup from just after the last analyze. Will restore and we'll start over. I'll keep a copy of the problem DB so you can analyze afterwards if you want to.

Thanks! Enjoy Europe!

After the restore last time everything went well.

Now, a mission later the same error

Just took a backup and then deleted everything in the groupmission table but to no effect.

HELP! Mission is tonight!

Hi Shades,

I found the problem but have no idea of the cause.
I got the MP back by deleting the last mission planned in the Objectmissiondata and the newwaypoints tables.
It was a mission which ended in a Withdraw, so I deleted the entry for that mission in the Withdrawels table as well.

After that, MP works again.
No clue what caused it though. No brief or anything. I do have a backup of the DB with the problem in case you want to debug...

Cheers,
Petr
