little problem with updating MP4public to 4.722

Post by II/JG54_Emil »

Hello 4Shades,

I ran the update.
Then nothing worked :)
Then went into MP-Admin Database Connections Definitions.
Edited the Default Sector, DB Type, Host, Port, Login Name, Password and Database Name.
Then I set the connection data right and the rest to default.

But I can´t edit Tarawa as I see only the Sector but can´t edit the DB Type, Host, Port, Login Name, Password and Database Name.

When I try to go to the mission planer I get this message:
Notice: Undefined index: Tarawa in
/var/www/SEOW/MP4public/Scripts/default-iron.php on line 16
Unknown database provider "".
any I dea what I need to change?

Hi Emil,

Have a look at the last page of http://seowhq.net/seowforum/viewtopic.p ... 0&start=15. Since Tarawa is a new map added since 4.710, you will need to update your relevant DB with the Tarawa SQL file downloadable from that thread.

Cheers,

Where can I get the Tarawa databse itself from if I want to activate the Tarawa sector?

Just use any SEDB32F database, then add the Tarawa SQL to it. That gives you a database capable of handling Tarawa as well.

I am waiting for all the updated highways and railways from Dore, Hawk_5 and others before releasing a complete new DB set.

Cheers,
