deleting Flight Plans on the DataBase

Hi:

We are getting some trouble with our active Campaign in Kursk because we don't know why, with some particular allied flight plans, the MP 'collapses' and doesn't show any kind of info, neither the whole map nor any sector map, but only in the allied side.

Axis commander has no problem with the MP, but both Admin and Allied Commander are not able to run the MP properly, so I think it can be done by some mistake in the allied flight plan table.

But the question is: Is there any way of deleting only a single flight plan directly in the DataBase? When MP falls down we restore a backup made just when the last mission was analyzed, but it means that both commanders have to make all their movements again, and again. So if we could delete a concrete flight plan, maybe we could isolate the reason that makes the MP to fall down.

Thanks and S!

Hi,

It happens to us too.
I just advice 4Shades of this.
Hopefully he can resolve soon or tell us how to resolve.
Looks a problem with 'NCurrentMissions' in our case.
Please confirm that you have the same error. It is show in the left botton corner of the window explorer. Double click on it.

Saludos.

That is normally an issue with people using special non-ASCII characters in mission titles and briefings, or in pilot reports. The MP works best using an English language localization.

I think you already know that one or more of the Allied plans are at fault. To fix this, you need to inspect the GroupMissionData table entries for the current mission and delete the offending record(s). Try to identify the bad characters. These records also indicate corresponding sets of waypoints in NewWaypoints table. It is best to delete those too.

Alternatively, the overkill option is to simply empty those two tables completely - forcing all commanders to re-enter their missions.

Cheers,
