Question about maps

Alright, I know certain maps are supported by SEOW and certain ones are not. My question is - is there a map list out there that has all the proper names? I tried comparing maps to each other in the template section... but the names in the template downloads area do not match the names in the FMB... for example: Ostfriesland is the Northwest Europe map in FMB.

Reason I ask, is I am going to start looking for a slightly better map to use for our second SEOW adventure, after the one were in now is over.

Hi Jaw,

Most of the maps are self-explanatory, but some aren't. The following list should assist you:

Code: Select all

    SEOW Name IL-2 Name
    Cyrenaica Desert Online
    Guadalcanal Guadalcanal Early
    Italy Italy Online
    Malta Online5Summer
    Marianas Marianas (not Marianas Online)
    Normandy Normandy2
    North Sea Norway
    Oslo Online3Summer
    Ostfriesland Northwest Europe
    Singapore Singapore 2
    Tubruq MTO
    Tunis OnlineMT
Where there is a choice between a normal map and an "Online" map, we usually have chosen the normal form, except where indicated above. Also, some maps like Moscow and Stalingrad have summer and winter forms that are equivalent apart from presence/absence of snow and ice; SEOW supports both of these, swapping maps as the time of year changes.

Cheers,

Is that the OnlineMT map? There's no map called MTO in IL-2.
