Salute.

We have now run 6 missions of my Italy campaign and all is going well.
However, one issue has come up, that of ground movement.

We are using the "Normal" setting for ground movement.

One of the campaign objectives requires the Allied forces to take Monte Cassino.

I have a control point set in the middle of the Monestry.

The Allied commander has reported to me that he can not get his ground units to traverse off road up to the top of the hill.

"Normal" says that movement along roads until final waypoint. Does this mean that from where a vehicle wants, for example, to turn right off the road and head up to the top of the hill, there must only be 1 further waypoint?

waypoint #3
0---------------------0 top of hill waypoint #4

Yes, that ought to work, but you could even delete your waypoint #3 and let the vehicle finds its own way to #4. Does it have to travel far off the road to #4? Are there roads close to the top of the hill but on the other side? That might confuse things a bit.

Cheers,

There are no roads that lead to the top of Monte Casino, its all "off road"
