Hi

Is there any solution for this problem

Image

The drawing of the map takes almost a minute and this popup appears more than 6 times.

Thanks

This problem appears when you have too much datas. For exampe, when you initialize a new template without removing missions in progress. FMB needs 2 way-points for each unit, but you have only one to keep in SEOW with "Remove in Progress".

Anyone knows how to avoid this popups, because with firefox the time the navigator waits until popup appears can be configurable, but firefox is not compatible with seow.

The newest versions of IE will timeout after only 30 seconds. You can increase that number. See: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/181050

Basically, the way to avoid this problem is to reduce the number of In Progress missions. Use the DCS to "Remove In Progress". That should help. Also use the "Truncate Ground Missions" campaign setting.

Many thanks. We noticed once the units are stationary and awaiting orders, the MP updating time is short enough to skip this problem.

There is another problem with the airbases. Planes are pointed as usually: Three waypoints beeing the third, the Landing one. Bases are also surrounded by friendly flak guns (perhaps four or five). Only a couple of bases are "protected" by a asingle gun, actually just to make it operative.

But none of the bases appears as available, in fact, just a single flight shows on the MP but flights planning isn't allowed. Clicking on the planes icon you get a message saying the base is inoperative or is under attack.

At this moment I don't know if the "Allow take off under attack" tag is enabled or not and guess it doesn't matter, but who knows.

Any idea?

Thanks in advance

Hi Loon,

I will look at your template tonight.

For information, if you want a detailed listing of all the campaign settings used for your campaign, then look at the "Settings" link in your sector page (top left corner, grey box).

Thank you very much, 4Shades.

Paterkiller did also a two hours clock advance in an attempt to make the bases occupied but didn't work.

Have been digging the forum and found a thread where BBloke got similar problem with Genova airbase.

Really don't know if BBloke solved his problem but seems the Control Radius value has, perhaps, something to do with.

However. will tell Paterkiller about changing these values in the DCS Territorial Control Tab tonight and check it again.
