The little that I participated in was incredibly intense at times. Poor knowledge of IF ingame controls did let me down at times.

You're right, the village looks to be about 1 km from the crossroads & NE of it. The placement of village in game is probably not that important to the overall campaign, and yes you have perked my interest.
