Re: Campaign sign-up/status?

I think you are right. I did it manually. Got it working just fine, eventually.

Re: Scenario 2: Zhitomir Command Line-Up

I got a PM from 4S with this SEOW Christmas present and I'd like to join in wherever needed. Although, I am so rusty I may be the "Italy" of this alliance.

Re: SEOW Design Considerations for Parkers Crossroads

I have been lurking for quite a while.

I am happy to push units around on the SEOW map and cause the usual trouble on forums. Would have to see what kind of mission times develop before I could get in the cockpit.

Re: HSFX7 Attack Ranges

If we want to use SEOW to set up battles/skirmishes that are resolved by using a detailed FPS, e.g. ARMA, then we can do this too. Just takes a little more work to generate ARMA maps/missions from SEOW campaigns. Cheers, 4S I've always thought of this as an interesting alternate way to determine th...

At this point I feel most interested in a continuation of the Korosten action, with the addition of more units for the Zhitomir assault/defense. I don't have a sense of how many additional of exactly divisions are involved in the other scenarios, but I would be interested to incorporate the need to ...

Interesting to see the comparison of the effectiveness of artillery in the results and the perceptions from the players. I had little faith in the effectiveness of our artillery, but kept it firing when it seemed prudent. However, The red artillery barrage was the primary reason behind our decision ...

I agree it was lots of fun. The campaign used all the major features of SEOW, providing the opportunity to come up with lots of creative strategies. Ground action was rather intense at times, and the air missions for me ranged from flawless victories to blowing ones self up due to neglecting fuse ti...

Yes, I think it can work. I like the concept since Sunday morning is about the only time I can fly and I detest looking at the planning map all week. The biggest thing for me is getting the "official" countdown start out there. By my count we still had 5 minutes or so left, but then I hear...

No, I dumped an entire dead mortar crew out of the transport and left them there.

Minor Freight Oddities/Bugs

During the strategic redeployment last mission, I noticed a few odd things with freight commands. 1) I was unloading supplies, and it typically prepopulates the dialog box with the max fuel in the transport, e.g., if it has 498L, it says 498L and you can quickly click ok. I did this a few times befo...

Thanks for the consideration. Its been tough to get online to fly at 0830 eastern here, and a number of others are either on vacation or experiencing other interruptions. That mission can be flown by AI. It was left as human flyable for anyone who wanted to experience the thrill of bad weather night...

What happens to freight when a transport unit deserts?

I was looking at the morale page in the documentation and did not see an answer.

If a transport has desperate morale and then undergoes desertion, what becomes of its freight? Is it unloaded at/near the transport, or is it simply wiped out?

Just thinking out loud, and have not been in this particular campaign. What about designating different weight limits per transport unit per type of freight? The transport object is of some type, e.g., truck, horse cart, train, etc. Depending on transport type, it can pull/carry different weights of...
