Can't see all the artillery types in the costs table and don't place any reliance on it. The following artillery types are in the template and is very balanced:
Syldavian: 45mm ATG = Russian 45mm gun
Bordurian: 37mm ATG = German 37mm Pak35
Both use: Lgt AAA = Russian 7.62mm maxim AAA
Both use: Hvy AAA = Russian 7.62mm x 4 maxim AAA
Both use: 75mm Artillery = Japanese type 38 75mm gun
Bordurian: 88mm AA = German 88mm FlaK 18
Syldavian: 76mm AA = Russian 76mm AA
I've changed weapon names in the database. They can have an Allied and an Axis names. Both sides can produce light & heavy AAA guns, i.e. the maxim AA machineguns. No side has any major advantage over the other. I don't subscribe to "unrealistic" forms of warfare and prefer to rack up kills through conventional means. Were no "dirty tricks" in the previous campaign were just means of taking advantage of situation / template gaps. It was starting to be effectively countered and both sides effectively maximised what they could from what was set in the template. This template is balanced, the defences set at the airfields should counter what you're referring to and won't be very profitable this time around.
The off map reinforcements are "high technology" replacements from Germany, Italy, Britain, France & the USSR. Just like what happened in the Spanish Civil War where the major powers tested their latest weapons. All tanks are basically the same Skoda 35t design. Yes only one tank type in this campaign.
Bordurians = German Pzkw 35t (a renamed Skoda 35t)
Syldavians = Romanian R2 (also a renamed Skoda 35t)
I haven't modified platoon sizes for different tanks to effect balance in this template.
Regards,
Warg

Thanks for all the info, its just that when the drop down for select production item appears the above isnt listed in it so I cant allocate a factory to produce them.IV/JG7_Warg wrote: Both sides can produce light & heavy AAA guns, i.e. the maxim AA machineguns.

Hey Warg
I got the skins from you in 2 separate zip files way back in March! I put them in what I thought were the correct folders but when I come to add the $ sign in front of the names I find that some of the folders mentioned in your post here don't match mine. If you've got time will you give a run down of what goes where in the forum here please. Was there a later issue than the March one?
Cheers and thanks for all the work mate, loving it!

We had a chat last night and Ikey, Warg and myself could all get there for 13:00 start (12:30 to initialise and prepare) (all London times) on Friday. Warg was going to put something in here but he was helping a guy called Bimmel from Germany for a couple of hours after that so he must have got side-tracked. (Bimmel is connected to the guy you helped a week or two back I think).
Bordurians are hoping to sort missions today - Ikey hurt his back at work so has the 'don't know whether to sit down or stand up' complaint at the moment.
Cheers

here you can download the skins for both sides:
http://www.gruenherzjaeger.de/modules/m ... /Skins.exe
just extract it into the your IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\PaintSchemes\Skins folder and that´s it.
