Problem with triggers - debugging. Meanwhile I will run the mission as AI-only.

OK, mission run and reported. Grid coords and directions corrected in stats table "Sector Combat Status".

This is working out well. :)

The hosting problem seems to be something to do with the trigger mod operation for multiplayer coops in the case where triggers have failure probabilities applied.

Oh, Luny, have a look at the new "Supplies" link in the little grey box (top left) on the Western Carolines intel screen. Just for you!

It is useful, my ships are running out of fuel fast, and maybe yours are too. So we need to have a chat with Kopfdorfer to see whether that was what he intended.

Cheers,

Great!, that was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you very much, 4S. Updating that list using MS Excel after every mission is a huge task.

Yes, I was concerned about the fast fuel drain of the ships. Thought might not be so fast for this second one though, but they'll not last for another mission, and refueling afloat wich works right now. I've already 100% refueled a small ship during this mission and a second one, not intended, rised up to 13% of her capacity from the remaining fuel of the tanker. Refueling operations will keep both fleets out of combat duties for part of the campaign and, perhaps, might not be realistic if the whole fleet stays around the oiler within 2 kms and after two hours, all the ships are fully refueled.
You are right, we have to talk about this before taking the oars outboard.

Greykitten,

As far as I go ( Campaign Designer ) you are welcome to join us for TF8 , but regarding commanding , there are commanders on board. NowThat being said they are both fine fellows and may take a learner underwing but you should approach whichever side you prefer by pm and discuss it.

IV/JG7_4Shades is fulfilling the role of Admiral Halsey USN , and LW/JG10_Luny is acting as IJN Admirals Inoue and Goto.

It seems that Saturday am Atlantic Standard Time is the default flying time ~1000 hrs.

Luny , regarding both the fuel shortage and Flotilla restrictions , note that I have altered the fuel supply and consumption of some units a bit , and have increased the flotilla alotments a little as well.

Hi Greykitten,

As Kopfdorfer said, you are very welcome. I am acting as USN Commander at the moment, but I am always happy to share responsibilities with anyone else interested. One of the easiest things to do in SEOW is be a naval commander, so there is scope for you to learn that in the TF8 campaign. For example you could command submarines, or a few destroyers etc. That way you can get involved immediately and learn some simple command skills in no time.

Luny, as IJN commander, may have some suggestions too.

Cheers,
4S

Thanks to both of you,

Actually i have already seen the basics thanks to CountZero during the Malta campaign, therefore i meant greenhorn relatively to veterans.

Kopfdorfer wrote:It seems that Saturday am Atlantic Standard Time is the default flying time ~1000 hrs
Just to be sure:
AST =UTC-4
I live in CEST (Central European Summer Time) = UTC+2
Which means Flying time is 1600h CEST right ?
And i assume we should come 30 min earlier for briefing ?

I'm choosing the red side, i'm sending a PM to IV/JG7_4Shades

See you soon,

I will host. I am in GMT+8, so I am 6 hours ahead of you. Normally we start around 2100 in my time zone, so that would be 1500 for you. This weekend I may be a little late arriving on TS because of an overlapping commitment, but I will be there as soon as I can.

Cheers,

Hi, greykitten, glad you are in.

I see you chose the USN together with 4S and Kopfdorfer. Excellent. I'm sure Scannon, as Japanese partner-commander and myself would have appreciated your help in the planning if you had chosen the dark side.
Ikey also would but he is concentrated in RL that kepts him busy.

As 4S says, taking command of part of the forces is a good beginning as it lets you organize your units at your own, but being part of a bigger plan. This means commanders meetings, strategy planning and, finally, seeing how the plans run.
On tracks or rolling down the hill...
Lots of things to keep in mind, even as naval commander. Tons of fun 100% guarantee.

Thanks, Kopfdorfer for the movements limit increase and the adjustments done in the comsumption rate. Most of the japanese ships were at 8% meaning they'll start to burn furnitures and wooden decks at lunch to keep steam pressure up. Crew of captal ships were also arranging oars on decks, just in case.
