Problems with the engine SEOW

I can not load the planner of SEOW, I tried some things but nothing results. The problem is this, when trying to load the map I get this message: "Do you want to stop running this script?" and when I press "NO" the application stops with this message "Can not open the Internet site, Operation Aborted"

I'm using Internet Explorer 8, Chrome + IEtabs, Mozilla + IEtabs ... Any idea? Thanks!

Hi Florete, go into the registry and add the below key and dword value.
Restart IExplorer and that should fix the problem.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Styles]
"MaxScriptStatements"=dword:41ffffff

I tried it and it does not work. It could be because of I have formatted my computer recently, I may not have installed addons like Flashplayer, or Microsoft.NET Framework ...?

That shouldn't matter. Make sure you have created the right key and dword value (and in the right path). Also make sure you have the exact spelling.
It know works for IExplorer upto version 9. Haven't tested any higher version.

I can send you a reg key that will create the right key and dword in the right place if you double click it when I get home. Let me know.

Cheers,
Petr

Could you detail the steps Peter, I think there is something I'm not doing well.

SEOW planner does not work well with IE of higher version than 9.

Cheers.

Thanks for that Astore, didn't know that. But then, I've stayed at 8 because I'm not a fan of the higher versions of IE

Link to reg file: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/636 ... ements.reg

Just copy and then double click, confirm. Registry key is then added correctly.

If this fails, downgrade to IE8, best version for SEOW for me.

Petr's general solution approach is correct (as with the other guys).

That warning message is purely a default Windows/IE registry setting for script management/timeout. The Med campaign is heavy, so IE needs to do a lot of processing of units to load any map view, and that's what can exceed the default timeout limit. Increase the limit sufficiently in the registry and the warning message will go away.

Cheers,
4S

Solved, I installed the IE9 and everything seems to work perfectly. Thanks for all!
