In the first BIG THING I would edit the current text:

Give ALL your desired aircraft units AIR STARTS with a few waypoints directing them to LAND at their intended deployment airbases. Once the template is loaded, all planes will be at their designated landing bases.

to substitute "and direct them to LAND at their intended deployment airbases with no intervening waypoints. There is no chance for a collision." for "with a few waypoints directing them to LAND at their intended deployment airbases.", because a single "normfly" followed by "land" is sufficient.

Perhaps it would be good to emphasize that initializing a template doesn't actually run a mission, it only loads the units into their starting positions. Static units can and should be used for all ground and naval units. I think that thinking a mission is run from the template is a common misunderstanding and causes new template builders much unnecessary work. --69giaptushka 21:23, 18 February 2009 (CET)
