Template: Seaplane Bases -- DCS: mission duration

Post by 22GCT_Gross »

Hi to all,
1. How can I assign planes to a seaplanes base in the template phase?
2. How can I change the Seow mission duration from 1 to 2 hours?

tnx

1/ Make sure your seaplane bases are defined the the Airbases table. If you have added seaplane bases using temporary runways, ensure that "Use Temporary Airbases" option is selected. Now design your template. For all seaplane flights, put their LANDING points in the middle of where the seaplane base will be situated. That's all. The DCS will allocated the seaplane flights to the nearest seaplane base (within 10 km).

2/ I assume you mean "how can I make SEOW automatically increment the clock by 2 hours for every mission?". I have not tried to do this for many years, so I do not have a recommended method for you other than to do a 1 hour Clock Advance after each mission Analyze. There is a configuration parameter for the MP that sets the default mission length, but I don't think the DCS takes this into account.

Cheers,
