S! Gents

I had problem with above file when launching SEDCS.

Code: Select all

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

WRN: Assembly binding logging is turned OFF.
To enable assembly bind failure logging, set the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog] (DWORD) to 1.
Note: There is some performance penalty associated with assembly bind failure logging.
To turn this feature off, remove the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog].

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

What worked for me to resolve that issue is to copy files:

Interop.ADODB.dll
Interop.JRO.dll
Interop.Shell32.dll

from older version of DCS 3.22 to root folder of SEDCS 3.30, after that no errors, could that cause any issues with SEDCS in a future ?

Is it okay to fix it this way ?

Hi Koshka,

In effect you have forced your system to use 32-bit versions of the named libraries, which should work. Is your OS a 64-bit architecture?

I am trying to reconfigure my Visual Studio IDE to generate this automatically (currently it uses a build target of "AnyCPU" which is causing all the problems).

Cheers,

Yes that was on 64 bit systems (Windows 7, Windows 2008 Std)
