Aircraft limits on airbases

Can you increase them ? I checked airbases and airbase-Layout tables but nothing obvious there ?

Cheers

Airbase_Layouts table. Basically the ACHS records are the aircraft parking places for each airbase type. If 25 are defined for your airbase type, then there will be a maximum of 25 parking spaces.

For example, Airbase_Type=3 has 50 ACHS spaces defined, so it has 50 parking places.

It would not be good idea to just add new ACHS records to increase parking spaces, as the location of each ACHS space is critical to proper airbase operation. Check out the Airbase Layouts document that can be downloaded from the SEOW Files page.

Koshka,

To add to Shades comment, for each extra parking space coordinates need to be entered into the DB so you create more parking space for the added planes.

However, if you increase the amount of space for a given airbase, and make sure that no more stationary planes are on the airbase in any given mission to exceed the currently defined maximum you may get away with it.

Cheers,
Petr
