Fixed!
Gec's bug arose because the MP4public patch file had a corrupted adodb53 subfolder inside the Scripts folder. I'll take responsibility for this - bad patch management.
Hopefully Sourceforge will start mirroriing the new MP4public consolidated release, which means anyone can easily get the complete MP4public with a single download.
