V-1 vs RADAR
Hi guys,
The 102nd-YU and EAF will try to design a campaign based on "Operation Crossbow", and I have a big unknown variable, that I hope someone can shed some light on:
How is the V-1 rocket, in flight, seen on the radar, if it is seen at all?
It is very important for us to know if the radar network can be used to direct human flights onto incoming V-1s, ie. to do a GCI of these things.
Can someone pls help?
JP?
Cheers!

Salut JiPi,
Je suis tres bien, merci, et toi?
Can you think of any way, we can make it appear on radar?
If it is not seen on it, the interception will be very, very difficult, and we were eager to employ the Tempests and new Spitfires from HSFX in this role.
How does IL-2 logging treat a V-1 in flight?
Is it possible to make a test in the MP?
A bientot, mon amie!

I suspect that radar will not currently (in HSFX42) pick up flying V-1 rockets. Rockets belong to a non-aircraft class in the Java, and this class is not polled for radar contact.
It should be easy to fix in a new Mod, though.
Cheers,
