Hi all, Hi 4Shades
as you know we are currently playing Prokhorovka campaign - one of the main features of this campaign is that we advance clock after each mission for 3 hours - here comes the question - is it possible to "exclude" static supply consumption (the amount of supply that units loose while standing still) just for clock advances ? - we didn't realize this when we discussed clock advances and now lots of units are very close to low supply although we only played 3 missions
thx in advance

Hi,
Another question which is related to this is Factory recovery. Now factories recover when you do a clock advance based on the campaign settings. It would be nice if this was an option when doing the clock advance, e.g. over night hours.
It is not a big deal to do manual SQL update on factory destroyed timestamp, but perhaps everyone is not that familiar with SQL or simply forgots this feature and run the update (wonder who that could be)

Yes factories rebuild themselves during clock advance based on the rebuild time in campaign settings. Just like all planes get rearmed too, which is not that big problem. Getting factories rebuild during night was not realistic in our campaign so we decided to "advance" factory destroyed timestamp as much as our clock advance was.102nd-HR-cmirko wrote:Hi Otto, you mean that factories "rebuild" themselves after you advance the clock ? - we still didn't have any factories destroyed so no idea about this.....
These rebuild factories don't show up right after clock advance but after you analyze your next mission.

as far as planes are concerned - after we advance the clock (actually Zoltan does all this since he is admin for this campaign) we can not use the aircraft which we flew in previous mission - they are still in "rearm" state and wait another mission to be analyzed.....
@4Shades
if that is the same for factory rebuild (waits another mission to be analyzed before adding rebuild time) maybe you could code the option to choose whether factory repair will be included or not in new functionality ?

Hi Cmirko,
There is a "Refuel Planes" option on the Advance Clock page, so you can choose whether this function is used or not during the Advance. Based on this thread, I am thinking of expanding the set of Advance Clock options to include industrial activities and supply usage.
Unfortunately, I am moving house this weekend, and may be offline for a week or so. I won't be able to issue a DCS update until afterwards.
Cheers,

But anyway that would be nice feature for Advance Clock provided that it is not too complicated to implement.
