Thanks for the great previous help.
I disintalled all my relevant programs and reonstalled:
.NET Framework 2.0
PHP 4.4.7
Apache 2.0,X
MySQL 5, installing the SEDB SQL files
And the ODBC, of course
DCS
Read the READMEs and install notes. So far so good. But an embarrassing question: Where exactly do I put the MP folder?

Duh. Sorry. I just reread the FAQ/installation notes. Answered my own question.
