Errors when initializin Campaign

Post by II/JG54_Emil »

Hi Friends,

after getting the error of the Hawk P36 A2 not being in the Database.
And after adding loads of French infantry to the DB army_units table, I come across this message:
modDB.openDbRecordset: -2147217900: [MySQL][ODBC 3.51
Driver][mysqld-5.1.33-community]You have anerror in your SQL syntax, check
the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right sytax
to use near "Infanterie" AND Campaign_Sector = "France" AND Alignment =
"Allied" at line 1: mysql
Error: -214721790
Description:MySQL][ODBC 3.51 Driver][mysql-5.1.33.-community]You have
OK
And an error message after that with error 3704.

What can it be?

Hi Emil,

Please send me your template file and I'll check it out. By the way, I think the P-36 A2 is available as a HSFX add-on object. Is it not in your Object_Specifications table?

Cheers,

Hi Emil,

I think if you remove all single quote marks from your Army Unit names, you might have more success. I believe this bug has been removed from my development MP4 version, but the public version may still have it. Example:
3e Division d'Infanterie Nord Africaine
should better be (as a workaround)
3e Division Infanterie Nord Africaine
Notes on your template
Number of Flights: 181
Number of Chiefs: 320 (3/4 of these are columns)
Number of Stationaries: 955
Number of Scenery Objects: 6821

I suspect this will be a campaign that is very demanding on host and player PC/network performance. You will have to pay close attention to playability settings together with wreckage, parking and target settings, and I expect that you may have to reduce the number of scenery objects significantly.

Notable Objects
You use the following object type that is not defined in SEOW:
H75_A2 (recommend P_40SUKAISVOLOCHHAWKA2 "Hawk 81A-2")

You are also using ME_210CA1 which seems a little out of place.

Cheers,

Excellent, thank you I´m going to try right now.

There should be 2x Breguet 693 on this map since this plane is not available, so I chose the Me210.
The speed in game and the real max. speed of the Breguet 693 are both at 490km/h

I think it´s not too bad, they won´t swing things in favour of the french side.

I finally got there and I probably have too many object in the campaign as I get the following error message in IE:
Ausführung des Skripts abbrechen?

Ein Skript auf dieser Seite verursacht eine Verzögerung
in Internet Explorer. Falls das Skript weiter ausgeführt
wird , verlängern sich die Antwortzeiten des Computers
eventuell erheblich.
translated:
Abort the execution of the skript?

A script on this page causes a delay in Internet Explorer.
If the script continues to run prolong the response times
of the computer may be substantial
.
Is there a way to switch this message off?
