Just curious as to what the difference is between these two data fields is in the Object Table. They are:
Engagement Range
FPS Range
Data Field Clarrification

Engagement Range and FPS Range have the same functionality, and can be selected using the DCS. They come from an earlier version of SEOW. FPS Range is a shortened set of ranges for use in campaigns where frame rate performance needs to be optimized, at the expense of long-range army engagements.
Remember, these ranges do not limit the firing range of artillery. They only determine the range at which guns will start firing as the enemy first approaches. Thereafter, the guns will fire to their maximum range (that is hard-coded into IL-2 technics file).
