No Database Connection Definitions
I was updating the DB to G-version and MP to v4.733.
When setting up the Database connection here http://188.40.123.132/SEOW/MP4public/Sc ... -Admin.php
and entering the standart PW I only get the Database Connection Definitions
display nothing more.
What am I missing?

Not sure, but the MP stores its connection definitions in Scripts/MP-Connection.php . You should be able to edit this in Notepad to see what's in it. If you have a bad/corrupted copy, you can always download a fresh version from the CVS tree, http://seow.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/ ... p?view=log

Emil,
first of all, your main MP page is not active: I have this warning:
About database, I'm used to use a light database from any sector you like and use it to build a sedb32g database; then I set the sedb32g database as default, while any other active sector must be linked to the proper database.
The best is someone takes a look at your server.
On seow TS at 85.14.216.230:9988 pw seow you find the expertens;
I will be on TS at 85.216.230:9987 pw pikass at 20.45 CET this evening if you need help, but you should let me join your server to have a look at.

Hm, I´m not sure what you mean when you say my main MP is not active.
The website is active and running on a rootserver 24/7.
Check http://188.40.123.132
All other folders are opened through the web too.
I´m not aware that the MP needs to be activated in any way.
What I did was copying the MP4public-v4.710 into the SEOW folder and patched it with MP4public-patchv4.710-v4.733.
So basically all should be fine.

Emil, using a France DB for all sectors is fine. But it means that only the France sector will show airbases, industries, resupply points etc on the map. All other maps will be blank.
I am releasing a new patch to v4.733 that explicitly includes adodb support for PHP v5.3. Unfortunately sourceforge seems to be having problems at the moment. Try this link instead.
Cheers,

Ok once more.
New version same problem.
I used the updater and downloaded the SEDB60.zip frome here: http://optimate.dl.sourceforge.net/proj ... SEDB60.zip
I set the MP-Connection.php to be able to connect to the database.
What I am missing specification for the MP will query for each SE sector.
When I go into
http://jg54.org/SEOW/MP4public/Scripts/MP-Admin.php I set the Database Connection Definitions for the Sector Default.
I see all the other sectors, but none of them is editable.
I huess thats because they arent defined in MP-Connection.php
