Unit names problem

hey all

A unit name with probably wrong format (Stub/JG3) is making me problems now.

i need to remove the name from the Airforce_Units and i need to change Unit names for the planes all ready on the runways.

what's the safest way?

Should it be Stab/JG3?

Just go through ObjMissionData, GroupMissionData and NewWaypoints to make the changes. Also correct Airforce_Units.

it should not be there at all.

we all ready have Stub_JG3 so i can not change it to that.

i've tried removing the line from Airforce_units and etiting ObjectMission data to existing Stub_JG3 but after build the flights did not show in built mission

here's what i've done:

deleted from Aurcraft_Units
deleted from ObjectMissionData

Admin reinforced them for 6 planes they lost

hope this is not going to make some problems

The spelling was confusing me! The correct spelling should be "Stab_JG3", not "Stub_JG3".

Gec, are you saying that Stab_JG3 does not exist in the game?

no Stab_JG3 is fine.

we where adding some more unit names and add one with the Stab/JG3 name.

That slash probably caused the problems and i found out only when i test built the mission (on the backup server o/c) ready for hosting what we have tonight.

Stab/JG3 had 3 flights of witch 2 planned for a mission and one unplanned.
